$25,000 Carol Lavell Advanced Dressage Prize

About this program

The Dressage Foundation offers the $25,000 Carol Lavell Advanced Dressage Prize to support talented, committed horse and rider combinations aiming to excel in high-performance, international dressage. Funding can be used for training, board, and competition, with up to two prizes awarded annually. Eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens aged 21 or older, competing successfully at large tour (Intermediate 2 or Grand Prix) with at least three scores of 65% or higher, and who have declared the U.S. as their sport nationality with US Equestrian and/or the FEI. Applicants must also demonstrate a detailed training plan, exemplary horsemanship, and a horse with international potential.
