AAP Foundation Educator Scholarships

About this program

The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation offers $12,000 Educator Scholarships to support tuition, living expenses, or debt reduction for periodontal trainees pursuing academic teaching careers. Awards provide $4,000 annually for up to three years, contingent on continued teaching, and require one year of full-time periodontal education at a U.S. program for each year funded. Applicants must be accepted into or currently enrolled in a U.S. periodontal postdoctoral training program, intend to teach full time after graduation, and may not be previous AAP Educator Scholarship recipients; applications are due June 1.
