Australian Diabetes Society invites applications for the ADS Ranji and Amara Wikramanayake Clinical Diabetes Research Award to recognise Australian-based clinical diabetes researchers with significant contributions; the awardee is expected to present an in-person lecture at the 2026 IDF-WPR & ADC & MBD. Applicants must be financial ADS members for at least 12 months (joined no later than May 2025 and fees paid through 30 June 2027), be up to 20 years post-doctoral or equivalent (e.g. FRACP), be based in Australia, and previous recipients are ineligible. Required materials are a nomination letter, the applicant’s CV, a letter (maximum two pages) outlining suitability, and a one-page overview of how award funds will advance ongoing clinical diabetes research; award amount and deadline were not specified.
