About this program
AgriSafe Network offers the AgriSafe Nurse Scholar Program, a distance-learning continuing education course for rural nurses covering prevention, identification, and assessment of agricultural work–related diseases and safety topics; completion provides 23 continuing education credit hours. The program fee is $500, with a 50% scholarship ($250) available to nurses employed by nonprofit organizations, Rural Health Clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers, government agencies, schools, or educational institutions. Eligible applicants are rural nurses who must commit to completing the full course; registration is accepted on an ongoing basis via the program website.
