Alabama Academy of Science Student Research Grant

About this program

The Alabama Academy of Science offers student research grants up to $250 to support student-member projects across its disciplinary sections (e.g., biological sciences, chemistry, physics & mathematics, engineering & computer science, social sciences, environmental & earth science, health sciences, STEM education, anthropology, and bioethics/history/philosophy of science). Applicants must be student members (high school, undergraduate, or graduate), complete the Academy application with their research advisor’s digital signature, and indicate any other funding support. The research advisor must attest the project is original and unpublished, and recipients agree to present their results to the appropriate Academy section or submit a paper to the Journal of the Alabama Academy of Science within two years.
