AMBUCS Scholarships for Therapists

About this program

National AMBUCS, Inc. offers scholarships supporting graduate students pursuing accredited degrees in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, or audiology. More than $200,000 is awarded annually, with individual awards of $600–$1,500 and one two-year award of $6,000, applied through recipients’ institutional financial aid offices.

Applicants must be accepted into an eligible graduate-level program; undergraduate and assistant programs are not eligible. Selection considers financial need, community commitment, compassion and integrity, and career goals, and requires a FAFSA Submission Summary, proof of enrollment, and a one-page personal statement; applications are accepted February 1 through April 1, with AMBUCS chapter-sponsored applications receiving priority.
