The APA Foundation (APF) and the Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy (APA Division 29) offer the APF/Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy Early Career Award, a $1,000 prize recognizing Society members who have demonstrated outstanding promise in psychotherapy early in their careers. Eligible nominees must be members of the Society and within seven years post‑doctorate, and are evaluated on accomplishment and achievement in psychotherapy theory, practice, research, or training. Nominations (self‑nominations not accepted) require a colleague’s letter outlining the nominee’s contributions and a current curriculum vitae, submitted online via the APA Grant Interface by December 31 (annual); questions may be directed to foundation@apa.org.
