ASLMS Research Grant

About this program

Offered by the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), the Research Grant program funds projects that advance the development and clinical use of lasers and related technologies in medical and surgical applications, with preference for work that directly impacts patient care and a balance of basic and clinical research. Two tracks are available: a Standard Research Grant for applicants enrolled in or who completed postdoctoral or residency training after January 1, 2019, and a Student Research Grant for undergraduates, graduate students, residents, or fellows (students may not serve as PI on non‑student proposals). Applicants must be ASLMS members (non‑members must apply and be accepted) and awards are subject to U.S. law and sanctions restrictions.
