ASTS-Veloxis Fellowship in Transplantation Grant

The American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS), supported by Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, offers the ASTS‑Veloxis Fellowship in Transplantation Grant to fund two years of additional clinical training in solid organ transplantation with participation in related clinical, translational, or laboratory research. The award provides $42,500 per year (total $85,000) to support salary, benefits, and direct research expenses (no indirect costs). Applicants must be current clinical trainees or accepted into an ASTS‑approved transplant fellowship, have completed surgical residency and demonstrated a career commitment to transplant surgery by July 1, 2025, have an ASTS member sponsor for their research/clinical experience, and reside in North America; concurrent funding for the proposed research from NIH or similar society grants is not allowed. Awardees must complete the two‑year fellowship at the proposed institution, attend the ASTS award ceremony at the American Transplant Congress, submit required mid and final reports and an abstract for presentation, and be aware one grant is available for 2026 and funding may be subject to Sunshine Act reporting.
