About this program

The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation offers the Student Award Program to support medical and doctoral students in Michigan who aim to improve health care within the state through applied research, pilot programs, or evaluation projects. The award provides up to $3,000 for research projects with a direct impact on health, focusing on health equity and social determinants of health. Eligibility is limited to doctoral students in good academic standing enrolled at Michigan’s accredited universities, who are U.S. residents, Resident Aliens, or Student Visa holders.
