Biomedicines Travel Award

About this program

Biomedicines offers the annual Biomedicines Travel Award, established in 2017, to support junior scientists presenting research at academic conferences in biomedicines; two winners receive CHF 800 and a certificate. Applications are open each year from April to October, with winners for this cycle announced by 31 December 2025. Eligible applicants are postdoctoral fellows or PhD/MD students planning an oral or poster presentation at an international conference in 2026. Required materials are conference details and the abstract to be submitted, a CV with publication list, a justification letter (max. 800 words) describing the research focus, and a letter of recommendation from the supervisor, research director, or department head confirming status.
