BSSH Research Fellowship/Grant

The British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) is offering a Research Grant/Fellowship to support clinical or basic science research relevant to hand surgery, commonly funding fellowships for trainees but also open to therapist fellowships under the supervision of a BSSH member and to non‑fellowship research projects led by BSSH members. Projects intended to support commercial enterprises are ineligible; applicants are encouraged to consider listing projects on the NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) Portfolio and note that no funding amount is specified and the grant stream is under review with further details due in early 2026. Awardees must commence projects within six months of the grant and provide a progress report six months after the first transfer of funds and a final report within three months of project completion.
