Bud and Linda Tarrson Fellowship

About this program

The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation offers the Bud and Linda Tarrson Fellowship, providing $30,000 ($10,000 annually for up to three years) to support periodontists pursuing academic careers in teaching and research. Continued payments require evidence of ongoing teaching and are not intended to replace institutional support. Eligible applicants must be full- or part-time faculty at the instructor, assistant, or associate level, affiliated with a U.S. degree-granting institution for 10 years or less. Applications are due May 1, and finalists must attend the AAP Annual Meeting for interviews.
