About this program
The Electrochemical Society’s Canada Section Student Award recognizes promising PhD students conducting research centered on electrochemical science and technology and/or solid-state science and technology. The annual award includes a certificate and a USD $1,500 honorarium, presented at the ECS Canada Section meeting. Applicants must be pursuing a PhD at a Canadian university and be nominated by a Canadian university faculty member between October 15 and January 15. Nomination materials include the electronic form, recommendation letters, the student’s CV, a faculty nomination letter, and a one- to two-page research summary.
