Capacity Building Fund at The Denver Foundation

About this program

The Denver Foundation’s Capacity Building Fund provides developmental support to past grantees to strengthen organizational skills and effectiveness following an initial grant. Eligible applicants are organizations that have received a grant from The Denver Foundation within the past three years, and funded activities commonly include strategic and operational planning, fund development, governance and board development, communications and information management (including cybersecurity), evaluation, resident engagement, and inclusiveness/racial equity work. Requests are reviewed monthly (the fund is closed each November); questions can be directed to capacitybuilding@denverfoundation.org and a list of consultants used by grantees is available.
