Caroline Thorn Kissel Summer Environmental Studies Scholarship

About this program

The Garden Club of America offers the Caroline Thorn Kissel Summer Environmental Studies Scholarship, providing $3,000 annually to one or more scholars to support self-selected summer environmental study. Applications must be received at GCA Headquarters by February 5 each year and are reviewed by the GCA Scholarship Selection Committee. Eligible applicants are current students (undergraduate, graduate, Ph.D. candidates, non-degree, or continuing education) enrolled at U.S.-based institutions who are either residents of New Jersey or nonresidents conducting study or research in New Jersey or its adjacent waters. GCA cannot fund international applicants and each applicant may apply to only one GCA scholarship, fellowship, or award per year.
