About this program

The Amarillo Area Foundation’s Texas Rural Funders Catalyst Grant Program provides $2,500–$20,000 awards for capacity building, community development, education, health, and workforce and economic development projects. Funds must benefit residents of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle, with applications due May 15, 2027. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, qualifying government entities, K–12 public schools, community colleges or universities, and faith-based organizations serving the broader community. Applicants may submit to either the Catalyst or Discretionary Program once per calendar year.
