Columbus Area Endowment Grants

About this program

Columbus Area Endowment, a fund of the Madison Community Foundation, offers program and capital grants to strengthen the educational, cultural, and economic vitality of the Columbus area, prioritizing cultural enrichment, community development, education, environment, and historic preservation. Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations that serve the Columbus and Fall River communities (parts of Dane, Columbia, and Dodge counties) and must include proof of 501(c)(3) status with their application. CAE awards grants of up to $6,000 for new or expanding programs and for construction or equipment purchases; recipients are limited to one grant per 12‑month award cycle, must submit a final report, and applications are due by September 1 (submit to P.O.
