Community Sleep Health Award

The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) Foundation is accepting year‑round letters of intent for its Community Sleep Health Award, offering one‑year grants of up to $20,000 (including direct and indirect costs) to fund local, community‑based projects that improve sleep health, particularly among vulnerable and underserved populations. Funded activities may include sleep health education and outreach, implementation of evidence‑based screening/diagnosis/interventions, interdisciplinary training, and community service initiatives. Eligible applicants include leaders of community‑based organizations; physicians, advanced practice providers, and other clinicians with advanced degrees; individuals with graduate or doctoral degrees; and undergraduate, graduate, and professional students; tax‑exempt charitable organizations may apply in collaboration with an eligible individual, and international applicants are eligible but must accept award funds in U.S. dollars. LOIs are evaluated for feasibility, responsiveness to community needs, inclusion of underserved populations, alignment with the AASM Foundation mission, potential impact, and team expertise; select applicants will be invited to submit full proposals and awards are made on a rolling basis until funds are committed.
