About this program
The American Heart Association and Children’s Heart Foundation jointly fund Congenital Heart Defect Research Awards for research advancing the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of congenital heart defects. Support is available through AHA Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Fellowship programs for basic, clinical, population, or translational research. Applicants must be predoctoral or postdoctoral fellows conducting research directly related to congenital heart defects and meet the eligibility requirements of the applicable AHA fellowship program.
