**CONVEI: Collaborative Network for Valuing Earth Information**

WWF, NASA, and USGS have launched CONVEI, a transdisciplinary network to assess the impact of Earth Observations (EO) on decision-making and societal benefits. The initiative integrates Earth sciences, social sciences, and data sciences to evaluate EO’s use, influence on perceptions and behaviors, and its social, economic, and ecological outcomes. Applicants from academic, public, and private sectors are eligible to participate in this five-year effort, which aims to develop new valuation methods and apply them in areas such as conservation, agriculture, and disaster management. The goal is to enhance EO’s utility in decision-making processes, making them more transparent and democratic.
