The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley offers the Discretionary Grantmaking Program to support nonprofits in Kane and Kendall counties, Illinois, focusing on Arts and Humanities, Education, Health Care, and Social Services. Grants, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, are designated for capital purposes such as technology, furniture, equipment, and building improvements. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) or 170(b)(1)(a) tax-exempt organizations, project-ready with estimates, and able to complete the project within a year. Applicants must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) by March 31 or September 30, followed by a full application if invited, with deadlines on May 1 and November 1, respectively.
