Dr. Bessie Delaney Fellowship

The National Dental Association Foundation offers the annual Dr. Bessie Delaney Fellowship, a $10,000 postdoctoral award supporting women pursuing advanced training in dental specialties or advanced study in research, public health, administration, or law. The fellowship honors Dr. Delaney’s legacy by recognizing applicants committed to improving oral health in African American and systematically under-resourced communities. Applicants must be female U.S. citizens or permanent residents, active National Dental Association members, and postdoctoral candidates; applications require transcripts, a CV, narrative, nomination and recommendation letters, program cost information, and supporting materials. Applications are accepted March 1 through May 31.
