About this program

The American College of Radiology offers the E. Stephen Amis, Jr., MD, Fellowship in Quality and Safety to provide up to three diagnostic/interventional radiology or radiation oncology residents with mentored experience in ACR quality and safety work, leadership development, and professional networking. Program components include a one-week residency at ACR Headquarters in Reston, VA (spring or fall), two spring virtual evening sessions including participation in the Spring virtual Reference Committee, attendance at the ACR Annual Meeting, and optional attendance at the Quality and Safety + Informatics Conference. Eligibility is limited to second-, third- or fourth-year residents in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, integrated interventional and diagnostic radiology, or radiation oncology; international applicants are not eligible except Canadian members, and up to three fellows will be selected. Applicants must submit an online application, current CV, and a letter of recommendation from the program director or department chair.
