The Egg Nutrition Center (ENC), funded by America’s egg farmers and administered by the American Egg Board, provides competitive, peer‑reviewed grants to support research on the role of eggs in healthy diets. Programs include Principal Investigator Grants for faculty/senior research associates (LOI then invited full proposal; external peer review; indirect costs capped at 10%), Young Investigator Awards for students and post‑doctoral fellows (one‑year stipends up to $25,000 for preliminary studies under a supervising PI), and limited Discovery Grants for innovative projects outside the annual RFP. Applicants must submit a letter of intent to research@eggnutritioncenter.org, meet the program‑specific eligibility (academic PI status or student/postdoc with named advisor), and comply with ENC’s integrity requirements guaranteeing investigator control of design/analysis, transparent disclosure of funding/conflicts, and publication of all results.
