Emerging Leader Fellowship (Epilepsy & SUDEP research)

About this program

Epilepsy Research Institute and SUDEP Action are co-funding the Emerging Leader Fellowship to support early career researchers leading projects on epilepsy and SUDEP, including studies to reduce SUDEP and other preventable epilepsy deaths and to assess their impact and cost on bereaved families, the health system and the wider community. Awards provide up to £300,000 over one to four years (FTE) and may be used for the Fellow’s salary, support staff and project running costs. Eligible applicants are early career researchers aiming to develop a track record in epilepsy research and transition into research leadership.
