Enoch Gordis Research Recognition Awards

About this program

The Research Society on Alcohol (RSA) offers the Enoch Gordis Research Recognition Awards to graduate students and eligible postdoctoral fellows presenting first-author posters at the RSA Annual Scientific Conference in biological/preclinical, psychosocial/clinical, or translational research. Approximately four to five awardees receive monetary prizes and plaques, with finalists also presenting their work in a paper session. Applicants must submit an RSA poster abstract, a maximum 900-word expanded abstract, and up to 300 words of references; students must also provide a mentor verification letter. Eligible applicants are graduate students or postdoctoral fellows no more than five years beyond their PhD or MD, and applications are generally due January 31.
