Etruscan Foundation Fieldwork Fellowship

About this program

The Etruscan Foundation offers a $2,500 Fieldwork Fellowship to support participation in archaeological field schools or fieldwork at Etruscan and indigenous sites in non-Greek Italy, from the Neolithic through the first century BCE. Funds may cover travel, meals, lodging, and ancillary materials, while applicants must secure additional support for other research expenses. Undergraduate and graduate students, as well as field school staff, may apply by March 1 at 5:00 p.m. with a program narrative, CV, acceptance letter, budget, transcript, recommendation, and two additional references. Applications must be submitted as PDF attachments to office@etruscanfoundation.org, and recipients must provide a project report and expense accounting after completion.
