The Foundation for Advancement in Conservation (FAIC), supported by The Samuel H. Kress Foundation, offers Samuel H. Kress Conservation Publication Fellowships to enable conservation professionals to prepare and finalize publishable manuscripts. Awards are $35,000 paid in three installments to allow recipients to take time off from work; FAIC has funded 52 fellowships since 1994, yielding 33 publications and additional collaborations with publishers.
