FAIC/Kress Foundation Conservation Fellowship

Samuel H. Kress Foundation, administered by the Foundation for Advancement in Conservation (FAIC), funds the Kress Conservation Fellowship program to support supervised, post‑graduate training for emerging conservators by awarding five one‑year fellowships of $44,000 each to cultural institutions and conservation facilities that will serve as host sponsors. The full $44,000 must be allocated as a fellowship stipend (payroll taxes may be withheld); FAIC recommends host institutions contribute at least an additional $6,000, and hosts are responsible for benefits, travel, education reimbursement, administrative costs, and may not charge indirect costs to the grant.
