Fieldwork Fellowship (Etruscan Foundation Fieldwork Award)

The Etruscan Foundation offers the Fieldwork Award, a $2,500 fellowship to support participation in field schools or archaeological fieldwork at Etruscan and indigenous sites of non‑Greek Italy from the Neolithic through the 1st century BCE. The award is intended to cover travel, meals, lodging, and ancillary materials, while recipients are expected to satisfy the award terms and seek additional funding for other research expenses. Eligible applicants include students and early‑career researchers participating in qualifying field schools or archaeological projects focused on Etruscan and Italic archaeology. Applications and all materials must be received by the foundation office by March 1 and will be reviewed by the Etruscan Foundation Fellowship Review Committee with recommendations forwarded to the Board of Directors for final approval.
