Florida Breast Cancer Foundation Advocacy Fellowship

About this program

The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) offers an Advocacy Fellowship to develop breast cancer advocates across Florida through recognized training programs and conferences in research, policy, education, outreach, and advocacy. Selected Fellows may receive up to $1,500 for registration, economy airfare, lodging, and meals, and join the FBCF Advocacy Network for a one-year service commitment. Applicants may include survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, community health workers, students, and emerging advocates; current FBCF Board members are ineligible, with preference given to first-time applicants and diverse geographic representation. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis from July 1 through May 1 or until funds are exhausted, and recipients must complete advocacy participation and post-conference reporting requirements.
