Frontier-X Fellowship (synergies in laboratory diagnostics and medical imaging)

Siemens Healthcare’s Frontier‑X Fellowship funds academic research that leverages synergies between laboratory diagnostics and medical imaging to improve population health and patient outcomes. Two fellowships are awarded annually at $50,000 each (minimum 50% effort) to support hypothesis-driven basic science or clinical investigations that must utilize currently available Siemens imaging and laboratory diagnostic equipment; funds may be used for salary and non‑personnel research expenses but not for clinical testing. Applicants must be PhD postdoctoral researchers or fellows employed by an Academic Research Partner of Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc., and an active Master Research Agreement between the partner institution and Siemens is required; innovative cross‑disciplinary proposals are strongly preferred.
