About this program
The Dressage Foundation offers the Gifted Memorial Fund for Adult Amateurs, providing $1,500 grants to support adult amateur riders in dedicating a week to concentrated training and bonding with their horses, excluding clinics, camps, competitions, or symposiums. Up to nine regional grants and four wild card grants are awarded annually, with applications due by September 15th. Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, membership in a USDF Group Member Organization (GMO), and ownership or lease of the horse used for training, with preference given to applicants with a strong volunteer history. Applicants may receive this grant only once.
