About this program
The Gochman Grant, supported by Becky and David Gochman and administered by the USHJA Foundation, provides three young pony riders with the opportunity to compete at the USEF Pony Finals. The grant includes access to professional training, clinics, and educational experiences, focusing on financial need, horsemanship, tenacity, and sportsmanship. Eligible applicants must be active USHJA members, U.S. citizens or legal residents, have jumping experience at a minimum fence height of 2’, and have not previously competed at USEF Pony Finals. Previous recipients and riders with prior USEF Pony Finals experience are ineligible.
