About this program
The Organization for Autism Research (OAR) offers Graduate Research Grants supporting independent autism research conducted in pursuit of an advanced degree. Awards are $1,000 for master’s students and $2,000 for doctoral candidates or postdoctoral students, with preference for studies producing practical, objective results benefiting the autism community. Applicants may be based in the United States or internationally and must be the sole investigator; projects that are co-led or part of a faculty member’s existing research, as well as tuition expenses, are ineligible. Proposals are generally due in February through a one-step application process.
