The American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) offers several two-year Hashim A. Yamani Membership Grants, providing electronic AAPT memberships and access to the American Journal of Physics, The Physics Teacher, and Physics Today. Applicants must be undergraduate seniors planning to teach physics in their native country, graduate students within their final two years of a post-baccalaureate degree, or early-career physics teachers within their first five years; citizens of developing countries receive priority. Applications are due July 1 and must include an online application, a one-page statement describing background and career plans, and a reference who can verify the applicant’s qualifications.
