The Huntington’s Disease Foundation offers the two-year Huntington’s Disease Career Advancement Grant (HD-CAG), an accelerator program supporting senior postdoctoral researchers transitioning to independent, tenure-track academic careers in Huntington’s disease research. The program provides career-development workshops, mentoring, networking, and up to $10,000 per awardee for approved conference, patient-event, travel, and publication expenses, but no research or salary funding. Eligible applicants are typically fourth- or fifth-year postdoctoral researchers within seven years of completing a PhD, including those based internationally, who demonstrate a strong commitment to an academic HD research career. Applicants must submit an LOI with an NIH biosketch and two-page research statement by February 19, 2027; invited full proposals require a mentor support letter and institutional postdoctoral-program description.
