IHC Research Fellowship (Idaho Humanities Council)

About this program

Idaho Humanities Council is offering up to three Research Fellowships of $5,000 each to support humanities research in and on Idaho, promoting public humanities through publications, presentations, and new scholarship. Applications are due September 15 with decisions the first week of November; projects typically run up to 12 months. Eligible applicants are humanities scholars (holders of an M.A. or equivalent) or Tribal Elders, and scholars living outside Idaho must propose work focused on Idaho. Awards may fund travel, lodging, course release, and other research-related costs; inquiries can be directed to Executive Director David Pettyjohn.
