Joest, Brian H. Memorial Scholarship

About this program

The Community Foundation of Noble County offers the Joest, Brian H. Memorial Scholarship, a one-time $1,000 award (one recipient annually) for a high school senior from specified Noble County schools who will pursue a 2- or 4-year degree in teaching special education, speech therapy, exercise science, physical therapy (or assistant), or occupational therapy. Eligible high schools are Central Noble Jr./Sr. High, Churubusco Jr./Sr. High, East Noble High (preferred), Oak Farm Montessori, and West Noble High, with preference given to East Noble students and to the fields in the order listed. Applicants must complete the Community Foundation of Noble County scholarship application process via the CFNC Scholarship Apply Portal (register/login, take the eligibility quiz, complete matched scholarship applications and the CFNC Main Application) and submit all required materials by January 14, 2027 at 11:00 PM. Award funds may be used only for tuition, books, and academic fees at an accredited U.S. institution and may not be applied to room and board.
