About this program
The American Center of Research (ACOR) awards the Jordanian Graduate Student Scholarship to support Jordanian graduate students at Jordanian universities studying topics related to Jordan’s cultural heritage, providing up to four awards of $3,000 each to help cover annual academic program costs for the period May 1 through May 31 of the following year. Eligible fields include archaeology, anthropology, linguistics/epigraphy, history, conservation, museum studies, and cultural resource management. Applicants must be Jordanian citizens enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral program at a Jordanian university at the time of application. Awardees who demonstrate excellent progress may reapply in consecutive years; ACOR lists an annual online application deadline of February 15.
