Kavli Scholars program

About this program

The Kavli Foundation’s Kavli Scholars program provides up to two years of support to exceptional scientists whose research has been disrupted, enabling them to continue work in astrophysics, nanoscience, neuroscience, or theoretical physics. Nominations are accepted only from Kavli‑affiliated individuals—such as members of Kavli Institutes, Kavli Prize laureates, or current Kavli grantees—and selected scholars are hosted at Kavli Institutes with funded terms typically lasting up to two years. Applicants should be researchers whose work was interrupted and must secure a Kavli host/mentor; full nomination and application details are available through the Kavli grant portal.
