Medical and Graduate Student Preceptorship

The Rheumatology Research Foundation offers a preceptorship program to introduce medical and graduate students to rheumatology through 4-week or 8-week full-time clinical or research experiences, aiming to advance research and training in rheumatic diseases. Funding includes $4,000 for 8-week preceptorships or $2,000 for 4-week clinical preceptorships, with an additional $1,000 for travel to ACR Convergence. Eligibility requires enrollment in accredited U.S. medical or graduate programs, a preceptor who is an ACR or ARP member, and identification of a preceptor by the application deadline. Applications are accepted four times annually, with the next deadline on May 1, 2025.
