The Ruth K. Broad Biomedical Research Foundation offers a $40,000 fellowship to support Duke University School of Medicine students in their third year of the MD program, fostering full-time biomedical research in the neurosciences, particularly in neurodegenerative diseases. This 12-month award aims to enhance research skills and knowledge in the field. Eligibility is open to Duke MD students pursuing laboratory-based research, whether basic, translational, or in biomedical engineering, with projects evaluated based on merit. Applicants may conduct research at Duke or another U.S.-based academic institution with 501(c)(3) status, pending approval.
