About this program
The Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) offers Mentored Research Training Grants (MRTG) to help early-career anesthesiologists develop research skills, generate preliminary data, and produce publications to transition to independent investigators. Grants provide $300,000 over two years to support basic, clinical, translational, health services, and education research and require a minimum of 60% protected research time. Eligible applicants are faculty who completed their core anesthesiology training within the past 10 years. Applications are accepted February 15 and August 15 each year.
