Misophonia Research Fund (soQuiet) seeks proposals under its 2026 RFP to advance understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of misophonia, prioritizing work on characterization, development/validation of objective methods (including diagnostics), and clinical or animal-model interventional approaches. Funding is offered through three mechanisms: Research Impact Awards (up to $500,000 for independent investigators and up to $200,000 for postdoctoral investigators, both 2–3 years), Data Discovery Awards (up to $75,000 for graduate students, postdocs, or independent investigators, 1–2 years), and Research Consortium Awards (up to $1,500,000 for multi-investigator teams; flexible performance period); MRF intends to fund multiple awards each cycle.
