Maya Research Program Welker and Maya Conlin Scholarships

About this program

The Maya Research Program offers Welker and Maya Conlin Scholarships to support promising students participating in archaeological fieldwork at Blue Creek. At least 13 recipients receive $1,000 toward the cost of attending a minimum of two two-week field sessions. Applicants should be advanced undergraduates or early graduate students in archaeology, although students from other disciplines may apply, and must submit an enrollment form, personal statement, CV, academic information, and at least one recommendation letter. Applications were due March 15, 2019, preceding the field season.
