Nancy Talbot Postdoctoral Research Fellowship

About this program

The American Occupational Therapy Foundation offers the Nancy Talbot Postdoctoral Research Fellowship to support postdoctoral researchers advancing occupational therapy research, diversity, and health equity. The fellowship provides a $30,000 annual stipend for one year, with competitive renewal possible for a second year, along with mentoring and professional development support. Applicants must come from an underrepresented racial or ethnic group, hold an occupational therapy degree and doctorate in occupational therapy or a related field, and conduct research at a U.S. academic institution with an identified mentor and IRB approval in process or completed. Applicants must also be U.S. citizens or provide appropriate residence or visa documentation; applications are due February 20, 2027.
