NCOPE Larry Lange Award

About this program

The Orthotics and Prosthetics Foundation for Education and Research, in partnership with NCOPE, offers two Larry Lange Awards of $2,000 each (total $4,000) to support professional development—primarily conference attendance—by O&P residents or recent graduates, recognizing outstanding practice, education, and leadership. Awards are taxable and recipients will receive a 1099 IRS form. Eligible applicants are current residents or graduates within six months of completing an NCOPE‑accredited O&P residency who hold a cumulative O&P Program GPA of 3.5 or higher. Applications must be submitted via the O&P Foundation portal by 5:00 pm CST on the posted deadline and include the application form, a 500‑word personal statement, an official or program‑signed unofficial transcript showing GPA, and a letter of recommendation from the Residency Director.
