NetVUE Professional Development Awards

About this program

Administered by the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) with support from Lilly Endowment Inc., NetVUE Professional Development Awards provide $15,000–$20,000 for one year of faculty and staff professional development that strengthens undergraduate vocational exploration initiatives; diversity, equity, and inclusion proposals may request up to $25,000. Funds may support one-time activities such as retreats, reading groups, speakers, travel, materials, meals, and modest stipends, but may not replace existing institutional support. Eligible applicants are NetVUE member colleges and universities that are not concurrently receiving a NetVUE Vocation across the Academy or Program Development Grant and whose prior Professional Development Award concluded at least three full years before the spending period. Applications are due April 10, 2027.
